No, they just let it go. It’s obviously used as a dumping ground for stuff.
These are pictures of the basement. Before we moved this house in, we had put in a new basement. Apparently the water heater burst and caused all the mold.

This is my home growing up. I hadn’t seen it in 30 years. The person that bought it let my sisters and I go in and look at it. What a disaster. The basement was solid mold. This is the style that I would choose or a Victorian…big and drafty. I love the woodwork. There used to be a balcony above the the entryway with the cement steps. The yellow bedroom was mine before we moved to Appleton.

Cool house DMC, looks like it was a fun place to grow up in. Too bad people didn't take care of it.

My grandma and my aunt too had houses in Iowa that looked similar. Amazing big old houses with lots of woodwork. They don't build them like that any more.
