I went to so many specialists in the past. It started out only lasting a couple of weeks then started happening longer until now. I'm on Amtriptyline, something that is used for a few different things now. It helps with stress. I've learned that stress is my biggest trigger for this. I'm also watching The Steady Coach. This woman makes more sense than any other dr. I've been to. I do have a Vestibular Migraine forum I go to. I'm noticing that some neurologists are figuring it out too..stress, big factor. It can be from recent stress or something from further back. Me? Have stress? Yes, I've been through quite a but in my life. Glad I'm not giving it any attention..or at least some..not nearly as much h. I've had much better days between the Amitriptyline, my prism glasses, and this gal.I don’t know how you deal with it Cynthia, it’s pretty horrible. Or at least my first experience was, I was so sick! I don’t feel competent to drive which is an irritation too. Any tips or tricks? I’ve already figured out it’s better to squat than bend over for things down low.
No, I’ve never had Vertigo symptoms before. I simply got up Monday morning and started our coffee/lunch for hubs to take to work and it hit me out of nowhere. It was extremely intense the whole day and had only slightly improved by the next day so I went to the ER. They just gave me nausea meds and IV fluids but it definitely helped. I’m seeing my GP for it, she’s pretty darn fabulous really and I really like her.
Thanks for the video, I’ll check it out for sure. I’m so glad you’re finding help too, this is a miserable thing. I did have migraines, terrible ones that would make me sick and cry and miss work. Then I got a piercing in my ear that resolved those. I wonder if vestibular migraines are a possibility for me. I’ll definitely make a list of questions for my doctor so they’re handy if it continues.I went to so many specialists in the past.
