I'd like to visit one day. I like warmer weather but dry heat is different (probably not as bad) than humid heat.

The flowers and the cat arrangement is lovely. My MIL2 was a hair stylist and she heard hair clippings will keep cats out. I haven't tried it so, I couldn't say.

Maybe they like releasing in calming environments

I just did a quick search on keeping cats out of flower beds. Some things recommended are sprinkling black pepper around, or orange peels, or coffee grounds.

Couldn't hurt to try and those things are pretty easy to come by.

I've tried pepper and coffee grounds, the cats don't mind it. I'll toss some orange peels around and see what happens

My cats (and chickens) just sniff the orange peel and kick it out of the beds.

We've only had a few 90s so far. But it is May, so I expect we will see 100s soon. Just thinking about it makes me feel blah.
