The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I've been fighting cervical cancer for almost a year. But I'm SO close to done with all my treatments. And Monday will be the last of a bazillion trips back and forth to Denver for additional radiation. Those trips have been the hardest part of this whole experience. People in Denver drive like crazy folk 😳
It has to be tough. My mother had to go through treatments after having uterine cancer. Stage 4! They removed her uterus then she had the treatments. Cancer gone the rest of her life! :) I'm glad you're almost done. ❤️

Hi, DMC! hope the flowers are kicking!
Hi Mark! I just watered and fertilized them. :D
Yesterday I was mowing through the woods, I see this bird it made me stop the mower. It stood in front and when I got off to look, it flew but not far, it started running around me acting like its wing was broke and then I noticed the baby at my feet. I couldn't resist picking it up. It truly was the cutest thing I ever held. A fuzzball about the size of a new hatched chick. I took it a few strides away and momma came and claimed it and away they walked. It was precious. How cute it was!!!!!!!!!! ❤️
A killdeer?
Good morning DMC, how are you doing today?

Good morning Mark, how sweet to see the baby and it's mama ❤️
Hi Debby! Good. It is a beautiful day here. It is nice and cool, and no humidity. I shut the air off and opened windows.
How are you?

I had a biopsy on the 15th of May checking for uterine cancer. I was lucky that it came back negative.
Good morning!

Good morning Debby, they are very chill now so mission accomplished.

Good morning DMC
Hi IM!

Hi IM!
So happy for the good news! I had a complete years ago, before my mother was diagnosed..and my sister also. Guess I'm glad I did. Not because of cancer but other problems. Then..long story, won't do the long part, but the dr. left song bleeders and I almost didn't make it before he got back. I lost half my blood volume. 4 liters later .. well..here I am. Thankful to those that donate blood! My husband literally saved my life. Nurses were having a go away party out in the nurses station. He kept going out to tell them my BP was dropping. She checked a few times before she got worried.
