Something ate my squash!!!! And Brew (I assume) accidentally trampled/dug up a pepper!!! I’m so upset!!! Granted it was still very small and the big ones are still safe but still. The squash was my only one. So mad and upset. It had flowers!!!!

I'm fine. My grandson left last night. It's so quiet here now. Quiet is nice, but it's a little lonely too.
My son came to pick him up. He usually keeps his head shaved, but had let his hair grow out about a 1/2". He has so much gray. That made me feel so old!

I understand that Janie...when my son was helping us move I noticed a few gray hairs on him for the first time.

How could that happen to my kid?

Did I say good morning yet? Hmm..afternoon it is. Took my Cooper to the vet to get his shots. Also to check and see if he needed teeth cleaned, he's 5. Teeth are good intill next year. Also, strangest thing. We've been a bit worried about a bump on him. It got big. We knew it wasn't a tag, wart, or lipoma. He didn't scratch at it or cry when when we touched it. Ok...I did not know dogs could get..pimples! A cyst..yes. I would post a photo, yes I took one and sent it to my son that gas been worried over it, but, it isn't very pleasant. Nice to pet him now without that there.

I didn't know dogs could get pimples either Cynthia. But guess blocked pores can happen to anything with skin?

I didn't know dogs could get pimples either Cynthia. But guess blocked pores can happen to anything with skin?

That's what I thought after I said that to the vet..didn't know. I've had many a dog in my life, plus having had fostered and rescued I haven't seen it before. Glad it wasn't serious.

I've seen people use mesh to protect their garden veggies from pests. Let's see what Cynthia uses.

Here's what I use. You can cut the top off of a milk or water jug to use instead. They're a bit blurry but you can see the eaten stems in there and then the middle actually has some small leaves coming on..so I decided I could try this.
