I had to go to Walmart and buy sweats and t-shirts for my radiation treatments. Which by the way.... will be done after tomorrow.

The store had pork butts on sale yesterday. Instead of a plain dry rub, I'm trying a new recipe (you make like a paste and smear it all over the meat). It's been slow cooking away all day in the crock pot.

It's making the house smell so good!

So one of the Texas members contacted me and requested that I take their nine standard hens and their bantam flock of 2 silkie roosters and 7 hens. I encouraged them to find someone closer to them, but they haven't found anyone they feel good about. Next weekend they are driving almost 3 hours to bring me their gang and a coop. They have a new baby and are moving cross country. And here I am wondering why I'm so nice. Lord above.
