The mornings have been pretty nice here. Generally around 80, but still humid. We have from 6am to 11am to get our outdoor things done.
The problem with our humidity is that the nights don't cool off until 1 to 2 am. By cool off I mean less than 85f. It makes it really hard on outdoor animals because they are not getting any relief overnight. I'm afraid to leave the outdoor fans on for that many hours in a row, so I generally go out at midnight and turn them off. They are outdoor rated but they get pretty hot after running so long.
I do think we have adapted to a certain extent.

We are similar when the temps go up to 117F but the humidity goes down as the temps go up--usually. Further north from me in Red Bluff and Redding, the temps do not go down at night much. It will be in the mid to upper 90s over night and over 115 during the day-- usually in August. This is caused by the ring of mountains at the north end of the Sacramento Valley.

I am used to it but it still is not fun! The trade off is winter though-- unless we have a winter like the last one the caused so much damage from storms that most of the state is a disaster area
