The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Take some pictures DMC!
Will do! :D
The tax credits are in now and most States are working through the rebates.

You can get 300.00 per thousand cost up to 2000 for a tax credit this year. The rebates will be based on income but go up to 8000 per unit.
We’re getting credits back on our gas furnace we put in last fall.
Good Morning!

Temps are nice now-- High is 88F today.

We will be going into a heat wave next week though. Highs at 105F for several days.
Hi Ron!
Well then, she wasn't the right one. He'll find her.
He’s not stressing. I knew it wouldn’t last. He’s only 25, so no rush.
These are the best tomatoes I've ever had.
Dew Drop heritage. I think the seeds were from Johnny's Seeds.

Yum!

Good morning. Took my Gracie to get her teeth cleaned. Praying she does well in her old age. I just couldn't let those teeth not be cleaned. They get cleaned every year and she's had 4 pulled so far. Older dogs teeth get so bad.
Best of luck to Gracie!!

You're right, he has plenty of time to find the "right" one. I think kids are getting married later in life now anyway. He'll have enough to do to keep busy if he gets a house!

That's really helpful about the unemployment!
It is but I don't understand it. There are plenty of summer seasonal jobs, at least here.
Why pay people to sit around for 3 months when they could be working?

I’m deep cleaning my bathroom. I had to walk out for a bit as the shower cleaner is to strong.
I would NEVER have anything in my house that would drive me out of a room when I use it.

I hear that many find retirement to be a very busy career..... :lau
It is indeed!

and hopefully AC is patched to get through the season - getting a quote on replacement.
Can you get a heat pump that will connect to the current ductwork? That is what I am doing for our propane and oil forced air furnaces. Will only use the fossil fuel furnaces when it is really cold out plus we will get A/C.

Haven't ever had A/C but as y'all know it is getting hotter and hotter. Decades ago it might have hit 90°F here twice in the summer. Now it gets well into the 90's and broke 100 last year.

I still don't understand why the dmv can't take a driver's license as Id. I mean, shouldn't they be able to tell if a license is authentic?
You would think so. I didn't even have to find my SS card to get my Real ID license a few years back. Maybe because I had my passport?

If girlfriends can’t cook and want to learn, I’d be happy to teach them.
My Dad's mother had to teach my uncle's new 22 y/o wife to cook. Her grandmother ruled the kitchen and wouldn't let anyone in.

So maybe he lost a girl and will gain a house...that sounds like a pretty good trade.
Both can be money pits depending on the "individual" ;)

Otolaryngologist. A ENT specialist in inner ear issues.
I've been also. Of course..lol I'm pretty sure I've seen all the specialists. It's crazy isn't it? It was an ENT up North from me that finally gave me my diagnosis of VestibularMigraines..after having been to many different ENT's. Good to know the MRI was good. We can see some scary things there sometimes.

Sometimes the pay at a job doesn’t make it worth it and unemployment is more in the long run. Have to factor in fuel, child care, etc. vs no fuel or child care costs and unemployment.
