Good Morning!

I am back from a short trip up North of Shasta Lake. It was nice and the chickens are still alive LOL!

We went through Shasta Caverns. We did that adventure 35 years ago and boy is it a lot harder to go through the cave now! It has 850 stairs up and then down. There are also stairs to get down to the lake where you take a ferry to the island where the cave is.

I am a bit sore today!

She had spraddle legs. She is around 4 weeks now and doing great. I finally took her from her mom because I didn't think she was protecting her well enough. She has recovered quickly now and is visiting with her siblings daily. I'll probably have her back outdoors within the week.

Ooo..stairs..that many stairs.. Aren't you glad you did it though? I remember caves in Virginia. A youngin back then when I went through them. Glad you had fun, and that your chickens survived.
