Apparently there are levels of butter knife skills. The 11 year old says he’s just a level 1 but that I am a level 99 and therefore he needed help from a master to butter his toast

Of course. I showed him how but he says he can’t spread it so I showed him my tips and tricks

My oldest always liked me buttering his toast and it had to have the right amount of peanut butter. Apparently I did a better job then him

One of my grandsons always has his mom call for "my secret recipes" when he goes home. There's gram's scrambled eggs (whip em with cream), gram's butter toast (just buttered bread under a broiler), gram's baby corn (just open a can), gram's quick Mac n cheese ( boxed kraft Mac n cheese)
No matter what Mom does it just doesn't taste like it does at gram's house.
