Read it early this morning. The dog needed a home , and the residents needed a dog.

Agreed but .... the article was full of pictures of chicken with bones even whole chickens. False advertising/reporting? Are they growing "meat" or chickens?

If you read the small print it says chicken on white ceramic plate under one of the pics. Currently they don’t grow it with bones, as I understand it that is a challenge.

It really was a perfect pairing for both the dog and the residents (and staff). Years ago I read a story about a seniors home in England that kept a flock of chickens...that was a good one too. Animals are definitely therapeutic for people.

Wonderful story. No wonder they are a woman's best friends. (Sorry cats & chickens. I love you but you are only loyal for the food.)

Can't remember if I shared. Can't keep up with my squash. My counter is full! Ive taken some to a food bank. Will make a run tomorrow. I did have a daughter come to get my zucchini.
