The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I think we ordered a GE, but I can't remember now. I just wanted a high capacity top loader with an agitator. It's ridiculous that they last such a short time now. The parts and labor are so expensive to repair that it isn't worthwhile.
All our government regulations to make appliances "more efficient and safer" have just made them more expensive, caused a shorter lifespan, and made more waste for the landfill.
Exactly! I want a plain Jane washer with knobs and you get a full load of water. I hate the bells and whistles.
I hope you have a great time. Where are you going to camp? Are your mornings cold now?
Thanks! A state park about 25 miles from here.
The weather has been great. It’s 48* out. My windows have been open for several days. It’s 60 in my house this morning and I love it. There’s a chance of rain today. I hope we get it.
How is your weather?
Good morning DMC, Janie, Kelsey. DMC you had that so correct about the safety features. My two-year-old table saw almost burnt up! I went to start it and it blew the breaker and smoke started coming out of the motor. Come to find out it was due to a faulty safety break for the blade. I removed the cork brakes, and it works fine now! and yes, I did say cork the same kind you use in wine bottles, The cork pads had frozen to the brake disk.
Hi Mark!
G’morning all, have a wonderful day
Hi IM!

I talked to Susie yesterday She came in my dreams and set me straight on some important things, it's a good thing she is still thinking about me. ❤️
beautiful

Had a decent day except for it being cool and sweaty at the same time.
Aren't you a little old for menopause Pert? ;)

Probably more expensive but I blame the short life span on cheap plastic parts and potentially poor work(wo)manship.

Hi Mark!

Hi IM!
We are having a rainy day here. A nice steady rain for a change, without the lightening and torrential downpours, that we generally get. It's nice.
