Why can’t you just test and eat when it’s time for breakfast? Do you test again after eating? Do you have Type 1 or 2?

I had to wait for the nurse cause the kit was out of alcohol wipes and almost out of lances. Sometimes I test before they come but couldn’t today. I have type 2

I sure hope so. Our temps are going up for a few more days, but we will still be in the mid and high 90s until the second week of October per the Weather Channel.

Type 2 is easier to work with, so that's a good thing. What does your A1C run?

It was really high like 9 and then 10 something but my sugars been a lot lower lately so I’m hoping my next A1C is lower.

Also I should mention 171 is a record low for me because it was in the 300s like 330s before I started the new medicine. Then it was in the 200s. Then they increased the dose and now it’s been under 200 or just barely above like 200 or 202 or whatever but usually under 200. So that number (the 171) is really good for me even though it seems high to other people.

Mine was 129 last week. It is usually closer to 100 in the morning when I check. I am not diabetic yet but to want to check sometimes.

added: I see from your last post that 171 is good for you! It is similar to me getting the triglyceride number from in the 400s down to the 150s. Still not super good but much better.
