Hi Mad, do your kids still enjoy Halloween? (I can't remember how old they are, sorry.)

Burgundy must be a popular color this year. It took me half an hour to dig through all the ribbon to find the right shade to match this flower. I found it, but this was the ONLY roll left. I love the dark, brooding feeling of it.

Thanks! Now we can get to planning/working on our other projects in the back. First DH is going to build a shed. Then we can move on to a couple other things out in back. Not sure how much will get done before snow comes but the fence had to get done before anything else can happen.

My oldest (14) & youngest (8) got costumes but might just pass out candy. My bonus son (10) will be with his mom this year. The oldest hasn't wanted to trick-or-treat in a few years but always wants a costume. My bonus son says he's getting over it this year. They're growing up.
I don't think I'm decorating this year. Hopefully they don't mind

I think my boys were around 13-14 when they stopped trick or treating. We lived in the country so never got kids coming to the door but we still did jack o'lanterns and had a bowl of their favorite candy to snack on.

Thanks about the fence. It took the guy about 3 days worth of work spread out over 2 months of time.

DH and I are actually in the discussion phase for a possible few birds next year. So maybe? Possibly?
