We have several different types of scorpions here. As I understand it the big ones are no more dangerous than a bee sting unless you’re allergic. However there are two small species that can and do kill people and they hang out in the walls of houses usually. A park ranger told me once that he never puts his hands anywhere he can’t see and he wears gloves always. I have heeded that advice!
We have black widows and brown recluse spiders here that live in dark places.

Not putting you hands where you can't see them is the rule here too!

I don’t love coffee to begin with. It’s a habit. My nose adjusts after a bit. Yours went away quickly. It’ll be 2 years in November for me. I lost my taste and smell for about 2 months and when it came back it was off. Most things are normal now. Deodorant, colognes, some soaps, some perfumes, laundry detergent, fabric softeners, still smell bad to me…and dirt.
The smell issues could be permanent?

Two years is a long time for short nerves to recover so it is likely a brain thing.

I’m extra caffeinated today lol
I just made coffee....I need more caffeine!

I’ve been bitten by a black widow despite gloves. Have a scar and a dent on my wrist from it. The bite looked ugly after a couple of days.

Brew took my spot last night when I got up to pee. I didn’t make him move and just went to the other side. He might be spoiled and I might’ve been too tired to bother. :lau 🙈 sometimes I do make him move.
Abby’s idea of moving over is an inch, two if she’s feeling generous :gig

We have I think 5 different kinds. But thankfully none of them are deadly. That would be absolutely terrifying to me.
