She drives that road during the worst times of day. She's very cautious, there are all sorts of critters crossing the road, especially in the evenings. But it sure worries me. She's good about letting me know she's made it safely though.Wow, hope that taught that dude to slow down. Glad your DD was ok!
I'm glad that's over with. Hopefully the new med will give you some relief. It went so well!!! He appreciated my honesty and he’s not sending me LOL but he is adding another med for the anxiety hahah

Impatience kills a lot of people. There was a wreck on the highway in front of our house a few weeks ago. 2 people were killed because someone passed in a no passing zone.A few months ago DD2 was on her way to work at around 6:00 a.m. She has to drive through the mountains, and the windy roads make her nervous so she'll drive pretty slow. She said a fella behind her got impatient and passed her, and proceeded to hit a bear running across the road. She sent me pictures, it totally demolished his car. The guy was ejected and thrown about 100 yards, but he only suffered a broken wrist.
It happens too often around here.Impatience kills a lot of people. There was a wreck on the highway in front of our house a few weeks ago. 2 people were killed because someone passed in a no passing zone.
Oh my goodness, your son is probably lucky to be alive!!My oldest boy hit a deer in his new truck a few years back. (He was most likely speeding) The deer ended up in the cab with him. It gored him in the thigh bad enough to need more than twenty sutures. He had to shoot it inside his cab. It was a real mess. The insurance just went ahead and totaled the truck.
I've had a couple of near misses. I nearly hit a herd in the rain, but ended up on the wrong side of the highway in a ditch. New tires all around. Another time I just barely clipped one and needed a new bumper.
I've hit a very small piglet that was hit by a car in front of me. It tore up the protective apron or whatever that thing is called under a car.
I do not drive from dusk to dawn anymore unless it's a dire emergency.
That guy is lucky! We saw someone thrown from his car on the freeway and it wasn’t at all good. Gives me the willies thinking about what a body goes through in that kind of situation.A few months ago DD2 was on her way to work at around 6:00 a.m. She has to drive through the mountains, and the windy roads make her nervous so she'll drive pretty slow. A burro? Wow. Do they run free there, or did it escape from a pasture?Oh my goodness, your son is probably lucky to be alive!!
I’ve had a a couple near misses, one with a burro and the other a mule deer.
I was on the back of my husband's Harley once, taking pictures. We were on I40 and a 18 wheeler in front of us started swerving, and blowing tires. Jim yelled "duck" just as a big piece of tire flew over us. I think that was one of my most frightening experiences. I'm glad he was a good driver. That guy is lucky!
