Aww I’m sorry to hear that!!

I’m pretty good, thanks! Feeling better today. The night nurse yesterday was really nice and they’re working on making that a regular thing so yay!

Today I am going to the clubhouse. My dad is taking me. They still haven’t sorted out my days yet. I’m trying to switch from Tuesdays to Wednesdays but it’s taking forever LOL it’s not the clubhouse’s fault. It’s the people responsible for making the switch lol ugh. Oh well. In the meantime, my dad occasionally takes me on Wednesdays or I Uber and I still go on Tuesdays for now and just come back to club after my appointment. And of course I also still go the rest of the week too.

Thanks!! Me too. It’s great. And it’s mixed ages. I think at least one is a teenager or at least like early 20s and then I think they have a 70 something year old there too and everything in between lol I THINK you have to be at least 18 though but not 100% sure on that and then besides that you could be 99 and still join if you wanted to lol

That’s so cool! Do they have activities for you? What do you do there? I know they feed you lunch which always sounds good!

Sometimes they have projects for us like for example I often help design the monthly calendars or make birthday cards and sometimes they go pick up produce from other clubs or go shopping or to redeem cans etc. and I’ll go with sometimes. They go to the library a couple times a month too and they go to the farmer’s market when it’s running. On the weekends is when most of the activities happen. Like Crantober fest was a club outing. They’re going to a pumpkin farm the end of the month. I’m going to that. They’re having a fundraiser dinner this Friday I’m going to along with some of my family. It’s Italian food and there’s gonna be a drawing thing with TONS of cool prizes. They’re also going to Boston this weekend to Castle Island but I’m not going to that. But yeah, they do lots. And yes, lunch is almost always delicious! LOL almost always because sometimes it’s not my thing. But that’s rare hahah and it’s $2 but I usually buy a lunch card and get I think it’s either 2 or 4 free lunches. And it’s WELL worth the $2 lol massive portions to the point I usually save half to take home. So it winds up being 2 meals for $2 usually lol can’t beat that!!!

They definitely do! But some days can be slower than others lol but usually I always find something to do. And I definitely do! Thanks!! I’ve made a lot of friends there and that’s where I met Rick so club is definitely great lol
