I had a very mean easter egger that I found dead one morning. He was so much of a problem he took a pellet or two to settle him down and get him away from fighting all the time. I don't think that is what killed him. There is no telling as some of the larger roosters may just have had enough of him and did him in.
 
It's been unusually cold here for the last few days. The low this morning was 19°F. But it's warming up nicely. It's already up to 36° 🥶

I have an Ameraucana x American Game Fowl that is just starting to get hormonal. So far so good. No problems yet. I walked out the door this morning and called for my little Honey girl and she was on me in less than 30 seconds. I check on here every night as she sleeps with the boys in an open door coop. I've got so metal for the corner posts that will make it racoon proof. If they can't climb up to the floor level they can't get in. I don't think they can jump 4' off the ground.
