Walmart was as horrid as expected. Every once in a while, maybe a Saturday trip is necessary as a reminder to go during the week.

Cupcakes were comparable to mine. My son loved the chocolate caramel espresso. He liked the vanilla almond too.

Thanks Debby! It was fun. We stopped at an estate sale and I bought a table and 6 chairs. We were there 2 weeks ago and I looked at it then. They wanted $500. I payed $350. I have to go back and get the table. We were able to fit the six chairs and the 2 extra leaves in my Equinox.

As is, for now. They are in really good condition. I don’t love the color but I know how to strip and stain if it bothers me enough. The top of the table is a veneer and so is my current table. I don’t know how to change that. I’m sure if I googled, I could figure something out.

I've seen some of the pieces you've refurbished, you do a good job. Will your son be getting a table and chairs for his new house (Christmas is coming!)?

No, he doesn’t want mine. Someone gave him a set already. Maybe I can sell it. I have another table with chairs and benches in the basement I’d like to sell.

I just got done visiting with my nephews wife. He’s out hunting. She’s 6 months pregnant and feeling a little emotional. Her mom is causing a fuss over holidays and won’t compromise so I was trying to make her feel better. They love spending time with us. When I had her bridal shower last year, none of her family came. She’s still hurt over it.
