There were vending trucks and two German Beer Gardens with German foods, but the lines and waits were extremely long. I think this fair was a one time attendance for us. It was entirely too crowded - worse than the state fair.

Whoa! Worse than a fair!? That must be saying something since fairs are usually pretty crowded as is

I would so much love to attend an event like that. With all the German blood that flows through my veins I've yet to go to an Oktoberfest in German Town, TN. I'd even like to go and see the land of my French and German ancestors. It would be good to eat the foods like they did. Home style as much as possible.

We had one of those not far from where I lived in KS...loved their pecan logs.
