No. We had to take the sink and the toilet out to get the shower out. Sheet rock had to come out. The sink was screwed to the wall and we had to figure out where. Yes, hubby did that. He also siliconed it to the wall. The new tub is a smidgen longer than the old one so he had to carve into all the studs on each end. I don’t know if it even fits yet. We were being careful not to break the toilet pipe. He bumped it with his knee and it snapped. Good thing he shut the water line off. All this because a 2 year old tub cracked and I missed having a tub. This new tub looked nice in the store but it is very flimsy right out of the box. I got it at Home Depot. I will be surprised if this one lasts 2 years. Needless to say, it will not be done before I go back to work. We are going for parts tomorrow. Sorry for venting. It’s been one of those days.
