We are on the southern edge of the big storm moving from the west to the east. It looks like Birmingham may be getting hammered really bad. I think this is going to be just cause for a nap. I did fix a place for all the crazy roosters to get under out of the rain. Some will play in the rain. Stay safe those of you in the path of this wide spread storm.

My mom is north of Birmingham just a little bit; she said they’re on flood watch and the dogs are barking at the thunder. You stay safe too!

It's rained now for several hours. Hard at times and sometimes just a drizzle. I'll be glad when it is over with so gardening can start up again.

I just looked at the long term radar and it looks like it is going to keep on raining here for several more hours. So far we have not had the thunderstorms that we were told to brace for.
