A game well played. They won 5/2. Directions got a bit wonky, but we got there. If the Princess and I ever got on 'The Amazing Race', we've decided it would be the end of a 60 + year relationship.

I apologized.

Just checked the updated schedule. Starting Tuesday the team is going to play 6 games in 5 days - all a result of rescheduled games. This should prove to be very interesting.

The last time I remember an eclipse, the chickens became somewhat confused and complained before putting themselves to bed. Apparently there have been many aftershocks with the largest being 4.0, but we have felt nothing.

The last time I remember an eclipse, the chickens became somewhat confused and complained before putting themselves to bed. Apparently there have been many aftershocks with the largest being 4.0, but we have felt nothing.

Our eclipse will happen between 12:20 and 1:40. We should have total darkness for over 2 minutes. I'm wondering if they will take a "nap" and then come back out for the afternoon. If we have storms as predicted, I'll just lock them in the runs when they are all in.

Good morning, Debby. We are supposed to get around 2 minutes of dark. I'm not sure what we are so excited about, but I'm looking forward to finding out. I'm interested to see how the chickens react.

We got rain here today. We needed it. I wish it would rain more. We had 3 fires in the area yesterday. One we saw from the yard and my son headed right out because he knew they’d get called out due to extremely high winds. They did.

Hopefully we will not have bad forest fires this year!

Wed. game has been canceled as it was 'non conference'. If it does not rain on Thursday we will go to that game. It will take place in a minor league stadium. I think we can go to the Saturday games. The Princess has rehearsal on the play she is directing the other nights.
