I finally made it outside. It's pretty muddy, with lots of standing water. Still storming, and weather report shows rain all day, night, and into the morning tomorrow. We have groceries, water, gas, and a generator so we'll be fine.

It is nice here this morning! The power blinked off a couple of time this morning-- likely due to a car hitting a power pole. We are close to the County Jail so power does not go out very often and not for long.

It is nice here this morning! The power blinked off a couple of time this morning-- likely due to a car hitting a power pole. We are close to the County Jail so power does not go out very often and not for long.

That's not my rain. My rain is unfortunately, still here.
We are prepared, but I wish I'd have stocked some junk food. If I'm going to drown, I'd like to indulge in a chili cheese dog, chips, and a coke before I go under.
