The teenager just came home and told me that a male coach and a female PE teacher at his school have both been arrested for violating kids. The school admin found out and reported it immediately but there are several kids involved.

That is always a sad thing to have kids violated by adults of any profession.

Seems there is something like that reported in the news almost daily any more. If my boys were still young kids, there is no way I'd send them off to school, they would be homeschooled.

That is so sick! I wonder if things were always this bad, and we just didn't hear about it?

Seems there is something like that reported in the news almost daily any more. If my boys were still young kids, there is no way I'd send them off to school, they would be homeschooled.

I wish all my grandbabies were homeschooling. Two are, and two attend a private school, but the rest attend public schools.
