My oldest son is stranded in Seattle or at least he was. He couldn't get a flight back to the DFW area in Texas.

The weather this summer has been a pain for most everyone! Hope he's home now.

Good Morning Everyone. It's going to be another warm one here but not quiet as warm. I'll be out in the heat as that is life on a farm. I will be drinking on the job today for sure. I'll be high on electrolytes. With garden crops coming in and chickens to tend to there is no way to take a vacation and not take care of farm life.

we will get out of triple digits on Sunday. The next 10 day is mostly in the mid to upper 90s

It gets cooler in late sept. but we still have high fire danger.

Sorry. I should have checked in. I stepped in a hole. It didn't really start bothering me until around noon on Tuesday. I ended up taking my very first ambulance ride. I've been so drugged up that I just haven't had the energy to check in.
Good news though, all those pain killers have ruined my appetite. I've probably lost 5lbs.
