Good afternoon!

I di some yard work and and picked some blackberries. We only get to 98 today, but we have another heat advisory from 11am Monday to 11pm Wednesday. On Tuesday the cooler will be out for my side of the building. If it gets too hot, will take some tom off that day!

I was playing around on Realtor.com just now and came across my grandpa's house! It's not for sale now but had a few pictures, those really brought up some good memories...us kids always had a blast at grandpa's. It's a bit rough around the edges now and could use some tlc.
Grandpa's House

He used to have a good sized dairy farm and some of his land was sold to put in a stretch of Lincoln Highway (I-80). He sold off most of his dairy land and built this house and 2 others in the area. The access road for the houses off the highway was named after my grandpa (McDonald Dr.).

So cool to come across this!

I like the wood floors and the staircase. So cool to have a road named after him.

It would be a nice house if someone would care to fix it up. That spiral staircase didn't exist when he had the house...to get to the basement, you had to go in through the garage.
