We have not had rain in 4 months and are now having power turned of due to extreme fire danger in parts of the northern part of the state. We are heading back to triple digits for the rest of the week.

Guess you'll be using the a/c for a while longer Ron. When do you usually cool off?

I am hoping that we will cool of by Mid October. November is the beginning of the wet months for us...except during drought years!

No, it just comes and goes today thankfully

With all the rain we got, we ended up with a small leak where the chimney comes into the living room ceiling.

Two roofing companies had appointments today to check it out and give us an estimate. Only 1 showed up for the appointment so guess it won't be a hard decision on who gets the job.

I've actually started my Christmas shopping this year.
I did halloween bags for all the under 6 kids too. Bought an entire wardrobe for our pregnant granddaughter this week, and sent out our October birthday presents too. I'm on the ball- let's hope I don't drop it before Christmas.
