It would be great if they didn’t bring them on the deck. We sit out there a lot of mornings. We have had so many snakes this year. I’m sure it was due to all the rain over the spring and summer. My son ran over 16 one day while mowing lawn at his place.

We're going to be in the 70's all next week and that sounds good to me.

I have (Sort of) good news. Maggie has been spotted. One of the neighbors about 2 miles from us has seen her several times. He is putting out food and water for her. She will come around his dogs and play with them but when she sees a human she runs back in the woods. I'm not sure how we will catch her but we are hopeful. Coyotes will be out as the weather gets cooler so I'm going to see if the people from the shelter can offer us some advice.

That's good news about Maggie...you know she's still in the area and she's getting food & water. Hope the shelter people can help with some advice on how to get her back home.
