Meet Oliver. He's a feral cat that keeps making eyes at me

He dropped in for his tea this evening and had a sniff around my home before going back outside. Then made his blinking eyes at me again just before he made off

Oliver is a handsome guy! Is it ok with you if he's a frequent visitor?

Pretty good here this evening. My son and I have made plans to meet up at the weekend to go to the Christmas market. Then we booked a table for dinner before I come back home again.

We live quite a way from each other and have only managed too get together a couple of times a year because my dog was really ill and couldn't cope without me.

He passed away in October it was devastating

But I'm dealing with this now

Marie, so sorry to hear about your boy. It's hard when we lose them ❤️

How nice you'll be able to get together with your son!

That guy doesn't seem to mind being sheared. Does the animals owner get all the fleece or do you keep some of it?
Oh I have a whole shipping container full of wool. It just depends on what the sheep producers want to do with it. I think that year, of the picture, the owner was saving most of it for a couple that were insulating their house with it. She sells some of the better fleeces, though. This year she was making wool pellets out of it.

That place is one of my favorite jobs. They have nice sheep (mostly Shetlands and Finn crosses, so no giant club (show) sheep or meat breeds, which I don't mind, but after a day of shearing a hundred giant sheep...😵) and they cook us great food.

Hello everyone. How is your day going?
That's nice you are going to dinner! Your puppers is sure cute! It's definitely always hard to lose them, so I feel that.

I'm just makin' bacon and working on a spreadsheet that I started on Dec. 1st. I think I am pretty close to getting it finished, minus punching in a few more details here and there.

Food 😋
Now that is worth working for

I loved helping out on the local farm helping orphaned lambs and haymaking .
The farm lady baked delicious bread and made some lovely dinners. We were always hungry after all the hard work
