The gift shop is a favorite of the Princess. Our local Cracker Barrel has had staffing problems ever since the pandemic. There may be a management problem - bathrooms which were once spotless are now frequently filthy.

I remember you used to mention going there. Sorry about the issues, that sure doesn't make a person want to eat there.

My thoughts exactly.

I've noticed here in KY, every restaurant has a small sign on the entrance door with their latest overall health code exam rating. It's reassuring when you can see right up front if a place has a 98-100 score. Anything less than a 97 or 98 would give me second thoughts about dining there.
