I was in Memphis once just long enough to see Graceland. That was interesting even though I'm not a big Elvis fan. The rest of the town we saw was not very inviting.

I've been through Memphis many times. I only spent the night there once; didn't sleep a wink.

Trust me, that's all you want to know. Memphis has some very cool history but its not too clean and not too safe anymore.
