That's a long jaunt! When do you take off?
Saturday!

I ripped the trailer brakes off last season (I mean literally, the wheels fell off)... and haven't gotten those fixed yet...

Hopefully we make it down some of those grades okay. I'll put 'er in low gear and pray! 😅

(There are new rims and tires, just no trailer brakes.)

Slow and steady (and careful of course)!

We have had a pretty easy winter. Last year was good too. It made up for it though in the spring.

I can see why. When do you guys start getting hot?

We’re only in the 2-5 range, so hopefully not too bad. Maybe it will shift. I’m choosing to be optimistic!😁
It depends on what you consider hot. I'm okay until it hits 90, then I consider it hot. Sometimes a hundreds here feels cooler than the high 80s and 90s because of the humidity levels.

I'm trying not to think about it being the last weekend I'll be home for awhile. Trying to get everything ready, camper cleaned out, etc. I feel more disorganized than I felt earlier! :barnie

I hope everyone is having a nice relaxing Sunday!
I hope you enjoy your travels. I've gotten to be a homebody and I hate traveling anywhere now...even to the grocery store.

Be safe!

Thanks, Debby! Probably the beginning or mid April sometime. We should have internet/cell service most places. Maybe not all of them, but our home base is at the contractor's house, so I don't think we'll be too off the grid most of the time.

A lot of times you don't know if you'll have water or power, so I'll bring the generator of course. One of my other shearing buddies calls it 'livin' like a coyote.' lol
Safe travels Jen, that sounds like to get organized!
