I have and am using those slip on studded devices that go on my boots - sort of like studded snow tires.

Most of driveway is a sheet of ice. Lawns/fields are a mixture of ice and melting slush.

Ice on the ground - snow possible tomorrow afternoon.

That sounds dangerous to walk or drive on...be careful if you go out!

So far we've gotten very little

That's what we did Janie! Some years we would decorate paper bags and a few times we did shoeboxes. And the homeroom moms sugared us up real good!

One year, probably 3rd or 4th grade, my 'boyfriend' put a box of candy hearts in my decorated card box. I was on Cloud 9 until that darned girl Judy got a box of candy hearts from him too. It was soul crushing. (Must have been, because I still remember it.)

I always put too much thought into everyone's valentine card. If I disliked them it was extra hard. I thought everyone did that until I realized that some kids gave everyone the same card!

You and I both...it was at least one (or two) whole evening's worth of deliberation to pick just the right card for everyone.

I hate to say it, but I'm still that way. I can spend 2 hours in front of a hallmark display.

I didn't take too many pictures, I need to make more space on my phone and don't want to spam you all with too many pics.

These sheep were cute enough to share, though. They were fairly clean, but big, kind of fighty and hard to catch, but not a bad warm-up for the season.

Everyone got their toes done, too.

My sister forgot her shearing shoes so she shore in boots the whole day, even though I offered her my extra pair, lol.

I picked out a Valentine's card today. They didn't have too many to choose from, thankfully. It was at a pet/garden store since it was dog friendly while we were waiting for the pickup to get fixed.

Just noticing now that the inside kind of bugs me, but oh well. Hopefully I have enough time to get it in the mail.

(I think it should say, "Nowhere  else I'd rather be!")
