I didn't take too many pictures, I need to make more space on my phone and don't want to spam you all with too many pics.

These sheep were cute enough to share, though. They were fairly clean, but big, kind of fighty and hard to catch, but not a bad warm-up for the season.

My sister forgot her shearing shoes so she shore in boots the whole day, even though I offered her my extra pair, lol.

I just pulled some lamb out of the cooler for dinner. (Well, it's not lamb, it's hogget, though (2 year old.))

Good idea! I probably will, even though I know I'm the editor in the family and the only one who will probably notice.

I have and am using those slip on studded devices that go on my boots - sort of like studded snow tires.

How cool is that?! I really have no idea what’s out there. I just try to buy flip flops with a thick enough sole that I don’t burn my feet walking across the parking lot in summer.

I am out of practice so it’s not quite level but I tried a new recipe for sandwich bread. Hope it tastes good, Igor likes egg salad on homemade bread. The big kid is already planning toast for breakfast

Good morning, DMC ️ school day or snow day today?

School day.

Not me. We have a high of 50 today and rain. Rain tomorrow all day. I hope we don't flood all spring like we did in 2024. Of course, I don't want the heat of 2023 either.

I  do want to change the weather! We're headed over that way and one of our first jobs already got rescheduled due to cold. I hope you and everyone stay warm and safe out there!

That looks delicious. I just made egg salad yesterday. I would love that bread to go with it. I’m trying to get into sourdough again. It’s not going well. I’m taking a class with my daughter in law next week. My son wants her to get into it too.

Good morning all. We are at an actual -18 right now. We will not be out for recess again today. Lots of our kids have not figured out how to dress appropriately. I had to tell one of our second graders to put pants on going out to the bus line. He argued of course.

We had almost 40 kids out yesterday. I don’t know that I want to go to work today. Influenza A and strep are hitting hard.
