Hi everyone! We've got the day off. Boss messed up his neck, but it was a scheduled day off anyways.

It's -8 but I think it's supposed to get colder tomorrow and warm up a lot after that.

If anyone needs me, I'll be in my sleeping bag. It's Pip's (my little dog's) favorite place right now, too.

Yeah most of these first few jobs have been fairly small, so it was a nice way to start out the season.

Pip is definitely a good sleeping bag sharer. She's so little, I think only a 7 pounder, so it's not like sharing your bed with a big dog, she's movable.

Thanks, Debby! I hope no avalanches over there anytime soon! You should see the nest I am sleeping in though, thankfully it's already avalanched (clothes, blankets, bags and even my tool boxes are up here, lol.)

Our son, Jacob's 17 yo dog passed on today. She is the one that had cancer, so we know it was for the best. She wasn't able to get up yesterday or this morning. Her hospice nurse came out and helped her on her journey over the Rainbow Bridge. We are all sad.
