Hope the kids are behaving today DMC! I remember as the school year got shorter and closer to summer, the harder it was to behave in school

It has not changed. I just had a kid throw a pencil at another kid and then he hit her. (In Art class.)I threatened the principal’s office. He lost 5 minutes of playtime.

Yep! Two minutes after I went on break, the same kid threw a pencil at her again.
I’m going to try and make it through the end of October of 2026. Supposedly I have to work 5 whole years so I don’t lose the money that the school contributed to my PERA.

Congratulations in advance! I went a little early, so it's been about 9-10 years for me, and pure bliss!

Since I am 65, it is considered retiring on time. 65 is the traditional retirement age for the USA. Some want to make it 70 though

Hi Ron

Where I worked, you could get full company retirement benefits when you worked until age 55 and with 30 years of service. I made it (it was doubtful sometimes, but so worth it). Of course, social security is a whole other discussion.

I have found I have way more patience for Kindergarten kids than the older kids. I’m glad I will be moving forward with the child I have this year. I have bonded with this class and my kiddo.
