We had storms all day yesterday and last night and got almost 4" of rain.
Our internet is out, of course, and our cell service is poor.
The water co-op notified us that one of the four wells was struck by lightning and that water pressure would be low while they were making repairs.

Geez, and I don't think you needed that 4" of rain, did you?! Wow. I don't think I ever considered what could happen if lightening struck a well. I hope they get all the repairs done quickly for you and you all get a chance to dry out today, Janie! Have a good day!

We are back from Boise. My sister and my nephew and BIL were there visiting from California so it was nice to see them!

Don't take your dependable rigs or good luck for granted! Haha . I had to get a ride home last night an hour away from home after our other little pickup wouldn't start. Two nice guys tried to help me jump it but it still wouldn't start. It's our smaller Ford Ranger, not F350 that stranded us earlier this year, so... Maybe life is telling me I should start hermitting .

This has been the year for vehicle issues, hasn't it. Hope your little truck is working ok asap. On the other hand, take it from me, hermitting isn't a bad way of life

Don't I know it! Especially photos. You wouldn't think I'd have so much junk. We only built this house 7 years ago! How did I fill it up so quickly?

Sounds like you and I have a similar problem with pictures. I have a huge amount of them but I don't want to give up any.

7 years is long enough to pile up a lot of treasures!
