I love reading but I mostly get mine from the library. I don’t want to dust them.

What is "dust"?

All but 1 of the stores was a used book store so he found some things he'd been wanting for pretty cheap and we mailed them back to his house. It was nice he found some books he'll enjoy.

DMC, don't you watch Food Network?

I just read where Anne Burrell has died at age 55. Not sure of the cause yet but she's been on Food Network for ages.

I didn't much care for the Worst Cooks tv shows she did but several years ago she had a 30 minute cooking program on that had a lot of good tips, I liked that show.

They are doing well now. There has been sunshine the last couple days. We had 6” of rain from Thursday through Sunday.

those are absolutely beautiful. Love the different colors and different spots.

It rained while I was out of town and DH said we've had 3" just in the past 24 hours alone. It's supposed to dump more through Thursday, then stop for about a week with temps in the 90's and then start raining again. It is feeling so steamy with all the humidity. (So yep, hot & rainy just like the map shows)

That is a lot of rain, I hope it doesn't flood there. Is there a no-rain dance?

I’ve never watched food network that I remember. I saw she died but didn’t know her. I heard she had a correct way to hold a knife. I do not hold it correctly. She was my age.
