It is hot outside. I came out on my porch to read. It’s 109 heat index. I’m not going to last long.

Same tomorrow. Then it drops into the 70’s for several days.
I’m thankful we didn’t get North Dakota’s weather last night. I think there were 12-13 confirmed tornadoes . Lots of damage from Derecho winds. It sounded like 3 people died. So sad.

Mine have been out for several years now. They still want to be house cats. When I first put them out it was spring, so they adjusted gradually. They like to hang out under the evergreens.

Supposed to be 99° Tuesday. Yes, 99°. That’s up from the 97° predicted before. LOL it keeps going up.

Supposed to be 92° tomorrow. Slightly cooler but still ridiculous.

There is an extreme heat warning in place from tomorrow at 11am until Tuesday at 8pm.

Heat index values up to 108 expected.
