Hi Janie, my parents had one of those old time crank ice cream makers too. Us kids used to think that was so much fun to take turns cranking it! When my boys were young, I thought they'd enjoy it too...turns out kids had changed over the years and cranking a big tub of salty ice was work and not fun.
