Hello Friday and Everyone! We are just hanging out this morning. We'll probably go pick some more berries today. We have a pair of cranes that comes back every year to visit. Well at first it was one, but the last 2 years they have been a pair.

When I went to church camp they used to tell us they would peck your eyeballs out. I never tested the theory, but also not sure if there's any truth in it or not. I've always kept a wide berth, though, of course. 🫣

Hi Jen!

Fantastic looking birds, you're so lucky to get to see them every year! Your eyeballs are most likely safe, but keeping a wide berth seems prudent. :lol:

The a/c works at home too! My wing of the building at work would get hot during the triple digit temps. There was a prolem with the coolant lines. It is hard to cool a room when the air coming out is over 80F.

This summer the hvac is being replaced so hopefully it will be better for then new person

Spelling correct. Saw several bands of horses. They are gradually moving the herds towards the corrals for the swim at the end of the month.

I vaguely recall reading a book about those horses when I was in grade school...always remembered thinking how cool that would be to see them. We had a few horses when I was growing up, but under totally different circumstances.

There’s one Misty of Chincoteague. And then several about her foals. I read those growing up too.

Hi Janie. Thanks! It is very smoky. It went from no wind, to smoky and windy. You could see the smoke blow across the yard.
