Maggie Moo is awaiting her surgery. I'll pick her up this afternoon sometime. I'll be glad to have it behind me.

Not by skeets. I sprayed myself. I was sitting on my porch a little bit ago and the flies were biting so bad, I had to come in. I’m trying to enjoy the outdoors today because it’s going to be so humid the rest of the week.

The flies bit you through your bug spray?! That's annoying.

Sorry your sister has to put up with some bad neighbors. They can really make things unpleasant.

I'm not positive, but I think our neighbors have had a couple of younger relatives move in with them and that's why things are louder.

Anywho, got the new thick drapes put up so we'll see how they do

Thank you, Jen. I'm anxious because she has had so much stress in her life but the vet tech reassured me that she is healthy now and will not likely have any complications.

We started out the day with a house shaking thunderstorm. I love them. (As long as there are no tornados.) No wind, and an inch of rain. We rarely get rain in July. This is the third one this month.

DMC where are you?
I'm reading a Nora Roberts' thriller. I thought she just wrote romance. I started "Year One" so far it reminds me a little of The Stand by S. King.
I'm also reading a scifi series called Precious Galaxy by Michael Anderle and Sarah Noffke
I didn't mean to read two at a time but I was curious and both started out great so I'll just split my reading time until I get to the point where I can't put one of them down.

I love her books so much. I believe “Year One” is a series.

I think it is a two book series. Apparently she writes a scifi detective series too under the name of JD Robb. I'm going to read those books also. Have you read them?
