Hi Janie.

We started out the day with a house shaking thunderstorm. I love them. (As long as there are no tornados.) No wind, and an inch of rain. We rarely get rain in July. This is the third one this month.

I'm glad you all got some rain and no tornadoes. I used to love storms but we get such high winds and floods lately that I've come to hate them.

I think our gnats, flies, and mosquitoes are immune to deet.

I think it is a two book series. Apparently she writes a scifi detective series too under the name of JD Robb. I'm going to read those books also. Have you read them?

I have not read a J.D. Robb. I’ve read all the Nora’s.
Of Blood and Bone and The Rise of Magicks are books 2 and 3 in that series.

Thanks! The weather is really scary the last few years. I rarely heard of a tornado in this area. The last several years, there have been many.
The spray worked for the skeets but not the flies.

We finally got some rain. I'm going to go try to tackle a couple of wet sheep and goats and take some bloods in to the lab today.
