The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I hope you do too!
We’re in an extreme heat watch this weekend. We’re camping at hubby’s cousins lake place. There will be no sitting outside or bonfires. We are going to a 70th surprise birthday party this afternoon.

Do you have a/c in your camper DMC? Have fun at the birthday party!

Well that doesn't seem very good for business... I hope your appointment went well anyways! I rescheduled mine to the 30th, from last week because I had a weird eye thing going (it's better now) so I'm not too far behind.

I hope you have a nice Saturday, Debby!

Hi Jen :frow

The doc appointment went about how I expected. Apparently there are cataracts developing and I'm going to have to get that taken care of. Thankfully, that procedure has gotten much easier and it's pretty much a quick in & out. I'll get it scheduled soon as I can work my nerve up

Have a terrific Saturday!

P.S. Happy birthday to your Mom 🎂

Hope you all are paying attention to the weather. It's looking pretty ugly for almost 1/2 the country:

"Daily highs in the upper-90s to near 100 degrees are forecast to combine with humidity to create conditions where the “feels like” temperatures could exceed 110-115 degrees, according to a July 25 forecast by Jennifer Tate at the prediction center."

This might be a good time for us all to visit Jen in ID

Yeah, it's 72* out right now, probably be in the 80s today. We've got the boats loaded up for the reservoir (it's a river paddle raft and a SUP) but the dogs will be happy, and you all are welcome to join for sure! Pip has a XS CFD (canine floatation device) that is so cute (they all have them, but hers is cutest of course).

I don't have my fishing license yet this year, so I think I will be netter and untier of knots. That's fine with me. I don't really feel like getting one online real quick, either, but I guess that's nice you can do that. (That might've changed, I just got the, "Well you're going to fish sometime this year, aren't you? Just print it out when I send it to you."...😛)

Definitely would be fun to see you all pull up the driveway! 😁

Your river paddle sounds like the perfect way to spend the day...enjoy!

I hear Idaho is a nice state to visit😁

You can whine if you want, everything depends on what you're used to. This summer has to be hotter than you're used to.

I don't know where Sue falls on that map, maybe she'll pop in and let us know. I'm in the "u" part of Kentucky that's purple. I've really missed Wyoming this summer.
