The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

You can whine if you want, everything depends on what you're used to. This summer has to be hotter than you're used to.

I don't know where Sue falls on that map, maybe she'll pop in and let us know. I'm in the "u" part of Kentucky that's purple. I've really missed Wyoming this summer.
I just assumed you were both in the red, which is worse than us. We are on the edge of orange. I bet you miss Wyoming. Did it ever get humid there?
It’s been more humid for us. I can’t say the temps have been really bad except a couple weeks in the 90’s and a couple days of 100 with the heat index.

I don't remember WY ever getting humid, it's high desert country and dry.

That humidity can sure add to the uncomfortable factor. Stay hydrated!

We just got back from the birthday party. I am staying in the camper until his cousin gets back and then we’ll go to their cabin. No sitting outside today.

I have to show off my daughter-in-laws bread. She is just rocking the sourdough thing. I make white and wheat. She does the flavored.

Hope you all are paying attention to the weather. It's looking pretty ugly for almost 1/2 the country:

"Daily highs in the upper-90s to near 100 degrees are forecast to combine with humidity to create conditions where the “feels like” temperatures could exceed 110-115 degrees, according to a July 25 forecast by Jennifer Tate at the prediction center."

This might be a good time for us all to visit Jen in ID
I'm sorry for you all, but honestly this has been the best summer, as far as temperature, that we've had in years. We even had rain yesterday. I hope Texas keeps the low to moderate range going. We only have 2 100's showing in our extended forecast.
