Thanks! It came back on shortly after he got the generators going. He kept one over there in case stuff hits the fan tonight. They are not backing off on the predictions. I went out and videoed everything (just in case)and we got what stuff we could, put away. I’m going to get the cats in the garage later and we’ll let the dog in the house if it gets crazy around here.

Good Monday morning, everyone!

My mom and my sister drove up yesterday. My mom wanted to borrow a trailer and wanted to pick up some tile. I offered to drive it down, but she said she wanted to come pick huckleberries. We must've picked close to a gallon. You can go sell them for $60-80 a gallon to the RV tourist towns. So that was nice and we had birthday cake.

I have a small job today, but it's 2 hours away (they said they would "make it worth my time" but it's cool out today and should be a nice drive anyways.

I will try to check back in and catch up once I'm back home!

The reaction is for the cool temperatures, Jen. kidding. Glad you got to visit with your sister & mom. I hope the job goes well.

Sookie sounds like a neat dog. It's always fun to have an adventure buddy! I hope your son and DIL have a blessed and easy (enough) time welcoming their new baby! Definitely keep us posted, Janie!

They had a doctor's apt this morning. Mom is at 3cm now but not in active labor. She says she is very, very ready.

Thanks Debby. My peppers and squash aren’t doing well. They really got hurt and are trying to come back. Between the rain, wind and the neighbor spraying their bean field, and it drifted to my garden, it looks pretty good.

Hubby was worried about the onions rotting, so we pulled them. I hope they don’t rot from picking them too early. They are very nice.

They look great. I love fresh onions. Just the fragrance alone is worth the growing effort! One of our neighbors brought me some red onions the other day and they were the best I've had in ages.

Thanks Janie. I love cutting into a nice crispy onion. I could live without the fragrance. I can’t get the smell off my hands.
