You got a lot of canning done DMC!

I’m hoping to do some tomatoes but they aren’t producing so well. The rain, wind, and also the neighbors vapor from their bean spray drifted on them and they were set back. The plants look good now. We shall see what happens.

Thanks, Debby! That's Festus. He is definitely cold blooded. He's an Akbash and sweet to a fault I would say. He wasn't trained around livestock growing up and we got him when he was a year-and-a-half. Never missed a beat and just stepped right into his role as deputy here. I think we got lucky.

Good morning to you all!

Yesterday took a surprising turn. DH kidnapped me and we went on a car tour of NW Kentucky. So much fun...we saw the Ohio river, stood in a Kentucky park and looked over the border into Indiana, went to a Dairy Queen, saw lots of scenery, and just generally had a blast.
