What a great friend! You can never have enough corn!

She is. We got about 6 dozen. We’re going back on Sunday to get more to freeze. I’ll freeze 1 batch before we head out and bring a couple dozen with us.

Today feels like a Saturday. DH got off work early and we went exploring all over town. Found a new bookstore (new to me) and stopped in at a local butcher shop that opened recently (very nice with lots of stuff). It was a pretty morning to be out and about!

Went out and played 9 holes of golf with Dale this morning. Before I left I heard a commotion in the chicken pen. 18 of the girls were in the coop, one was in the enclosed pen and 3 were back under a tree on the far end of the pen. Everyone was okay, probably spooked by a hawk. Glad they knew to hide.
Golf cleats and chicken pens are not a good combination...

Thankfully the lawn sprinklers were running, so I cleaned them off really well. Even so, I think some soap might be a good idea...lol
