That's something we don't see here. Be careful out there. It was all the way up on the sidewalk at work. I was turning around to avoid the water and took a quick picture.

We don’t usually see that either. It sounded like in town they got 3.5” of rain in about 20 minutes. We only got a heavy shower at my place, thank goodness. That's something we don't see here. Be careful out there.![]()
Did they fix the leak that had caused the mold issue?Hi Janie. The first day went great. It’s been downhill since. We are working on solutions.
We had about 5 days of really nice weather and now the air went back on. Big thunderstorm again this morning with lots of flooding in town. I had to park up by the office or I may have had water above my ankles.
I hope you got some good photosGood morning all! Hope you have a beautiful day.
We're finally taking the boat out, first time this year.
Hey there!
I did take a few!I hope you got some good photos![]()
It wasn’t a leak….we do have several of those though. It sounds like they cleaned the carpets and the air exchange or something wasn’t working right. It was super humid at that time. I don’t know all the details. We still have 2 big dehumidifier’s running.Did they fix the leak that had caused the mold issue?
I hope you start trekking uphill again soon, DMC. Is it the children, the parents, or your fellow employees that are causing issues?
Beautiful!I did take a few!

Approximately 18 miles up river, we are now below Wanapum Dam.

Looking down river from Wanapum Dam, is the gap. You can also see an old railroad bridge. I think it's over 100 years old. They turned it into part of what used to be called the John Wayne Trail, now the Palouse to Cascades Trail (I think that's what they changed it to). When they were working on it, the accidentally dropped some of the 100 year old ties into the river. We found one when we were boating and brought it home. Pretty cool piece of history. Dale's planning on using it for a corner fence post. Not sure when that will happen.

He caught 6 bass trolling by the rocks on the right. I'm the boat driver. I fish too, but didn't buy a license this year.

My husband worked at both dams. He was the foreman at Priest for at least 12 years and at Wanapum for maybe 5 years. He retired after working on the dams for 35 years.
